My diverse classroom is made up of 23 amazing students. My students have been working extremely hard this school year. We have 13 boys and 10 girls in our class. In our group of 23, we have three English Language Learners. My students love learning! I strive to provide a welcoming and creative environment in our classroom. I want my students to be apart of our learning community.
The students in my class are a family.
They really care about each other and cheer each other on with each success. This a special group of students. I want to be able to give them other hands on ways in which to learn. They are growing in their knowledge of technology and really enjoy learning through technology.
I am requesting Osmos starter kits and games for their iPads, Double sided Magnetic Easel, Classroom bookshelf, wireless mouse, and headphones which will help my students.
The Osmos will give my students a chance to use our technology in another way.
They will get to learn using this hands on technology tool. I've noticed since COVID-19 its more challenging to engage students. I know that Osmos will help them to be fully engaged.
The magnetic whiteboard will help my students in small groups. I've recently been taking the LETRS training through the state and this whiteboard will help when I'm doing small group work.
The library shelf will be a place where I can highlight special theme books for the month. Students will be able to read these books and look at them throughout the month. I believe this will also get them excited to read. The wireless mouse will be a useful tool in the classroom. I can walk around the room and still be able to click slides on my Smartboard. The headphones will be used for my students who don’t have headphones.
