My Project

My first graders are enthusiastic about all things learning! They love working together to solve problems, exercise their creativity, and explore the world around them. STEAM projects are engaging activities for their young minds.

Apart from encouraging their curiosity, my other goal this year is to get all students reading at grade level by the end of the year.

In order to accomplish this goal, our classroom is in need of leveled and decodable books. I supplement my reading instruction with word work each day; therefore we also have a need for magnetic whiteboards for students to manipulate letters/sounds and practice their foundational skills.
