My students need to be exposed to STEM technology, and I can't think of a more engaging product to integrate into our curriculum than the Ozobot.

My Students

I have the pleasure of working at such an incredible Title I school with a diverse group of students ranging from students with special needs, English language learners, students who need an academic challenge, and students who are economically disadvantaged. I teach first grade and love how engaged and curious they are as young learners.

One goal I have for my students is to promote engagement and critical-thinking skills.

I want to prepare them for our global technology community and expose them to tasks that allow them to apply their thinking in order to complete a project or task. As a teacher, I am constantly trying to incorporate technology in any way possible.

My Project

I am asking for six Ozobots to use with my students to incorporate coding into the classroom. By getting this number of Ozobots, students will be able to work in small groups and collaborate as well as problem-solve together. These robots will help my students with problem-solving skills, logical thinking, critical thinking, and present content in a new, engaging way.

Students can also learn about robotics as they code the mini-robots to perform different functions.

I am excited to use this innovative product in my classroom, and I know my students will be completely captivated by this hands-on, high-tech robot.
