This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
This project is designed to help fund resources for a first year teacher entering his 1st grade class. I ideally could have between 28-30 students in my class. Fortunately for me I will be transferring from kindergarten as an intern to a full time first grade teacher. With this transition I'll be allowed the to loop majority of my current students. My students are very engaging students who are eager to learn through play and technology.
I am asking for fun and innovative resources for my students.
Access to multiple learning engagements that will strengthen their need based goals. I would like to provide my student with comprehensive learning centers to enrich learning during choice time. With your help and donations I can surely bring those visions to life. Thanks in advance you considerations and contributions.
My Project
First grade is a pivotal grade for student to gain essential reading skill and habits. The materials that I selected will be used to help increase my students fluency, comprehension, confidence, and enjoyment in reading. I also selected fun math material that I'm sure will challenge and excite my students.
This year will be my first year teaching in my very own classroom.
As a rookie teacher I have limited resources and material for my students. What I have asked for will be used to create the interface of my classroom focus; literacy. Behind every great teacher is a classroom full of endless possibilities. Help me create this space for my deserving students.
