Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
All different ethnicities make up our school and we are proud to be a strong community school. One hundred percent of our students in our school receive free breakfast and lunch. We have a mixture of English Language Learners throughout the school.
The students take pride in their school and the teachers and staff who work there.
Our school does its best to support our students. We are a well-crafted school that wants to ensure students are receiving a well-rounded education, as well as building relationships and everlasting characteristics that will shape who they are and prepares them for their future. These students need some tender love and care, and we are proud to provide that support.
My Project
In this project I am requesting four Kindle Fire Tablets to put to use in my reading centers for next year. When the students enter my classroom, they are coming reading at all different levels. Some students love to read the "old fashioned" way with a book. However, some students struggle to read and would benefit from a listening station where they could follow along to the books being read.
It's all about providing a positive learning experience for all.
I am looking to enrich my centers and enrich my students' learning. I want them to be stronger and more confident in their reading. With these Kindle Fires that I am proposing, I can provide many reading apps that will suit all our learners in our classroom.
