My students are from a rural community that serves a high population of at-risk students. More three quarters of our students come from economically disadvantage homes. It is extremely important to our community that our students receive educational opportunities. We are a STEM academy school, striving to improve in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. This program is really taking off and students are excited to see the possibilities available to them.

My Project
Kindle Fire Tablets will enable my students to sharpen their financial literacy skills with applications and online websites that engage learning. By donating to our project, you will help to improve and increase student attention and focus, and help to increase their knowledge of financial literacy.
Help them get fired up about learning with Kindle fire tablets.
Students will learn to balance and plan a budget, and the importance of staying within a budget. We will also be learning how to balance a checkbook and differences between credit and debits. These tablets will allow them to have access to many financial applications. Their tablets will also be used as planning tools, when creating financial literacy projects, such as planning and managing their own businesses.
