I teach a 5th-grade classroom with a mix of general education students, special education students, and gifted and talented students.
Our school is very much a big family where students, their families, and staff all work together to help all students be successful.
My gifted and talented students just started a mentoring program for struggling Kindergarten students. Our classroom loves interactive activities that involve peer tutoring and group work.
My students are compassionate and love to help others! We all work together as a family each and every day!
My 5th graders will use these tablets to enhance their peer work with each other. We frequently do group work and these tablets will encourage and allow students to work on curriculum level work in a fun and engaging way. There are multiple ways to use these tablets and technology to encourage struggling learners in all grade levels.
My gifted and talented students will also be using these tablets to peer tutor struggling Kindergarten students in reading and math.
My special education students will be using these tablets as an intervention through school based programs to help them be successful in the classroom.
