This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come eager to learn every day. The Firebird Singers have been invited to perform at the FLACDA and at the Regional ACDA Conference in Alabama - We have worked so hard this year to prepare a wonderful program for the students.

They are inspiring and they give purpose to my life as an educator.

We have been chosen as a Choir of Distinction for the Florida Vocal Association. We have also received straight Superiors with both groups at state competition and at Atlanta - Heritage Festival we took top prizes - First Place GOLD, Adjudicators trophy and The Spirit of Atlanta Award.

My Project

We have been very successful in promoting the arts in our school and community - we are in need of documenting our performances and events and promoting in social media - using high-quality resolution pictures and videos - we need an appropriate camera to document our performances and to showcase our events.

This camera would help us promote our choir in social media and keep good records for posterity and for creating and documenting our year.

We love to perform and make every event a memorable one.

My students are very motivated and participate in over 18 concerts year-round. We will be traveling to Alabama and Orlando this year. They have fundraised for the trip to lower the costs.
