My Students

Hello Potential Donor! Thank you for visiting my teacher's page. I am a kindergarten teacher at a large Title One elementary school. My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds, but each one comes to school eager to learn. We have so much positivity in our school and our classroom that it is nearly tangible. My students struggle with school but each one tries so hard and am inspired on a daily basis. I discovered Donor's Choose and am looking for ways to provide my students with the tools they need to be successful! Your donation will truly make a difference in the lives of these special kiddos!

My Project

The fire 7 tablet and corresponding games will give my students the opportunity to reading, practice letters, word families, and blends and digraphs. The tablet will guide students learning and letting them practice in a safe way. All students regardless of learning challenges will have an opportunity to be successful and practice skills learned in the classroom.

I implore a number of strategies to reach the greatest amount of students, including center groups.

During centers students rotate to computers, tablets, games, and teacher led groups. I recently noticed that students at the games were practicing skills incorrectly, which can develop difficult to correct habits.
