My students need these materials (such as a stapler, batteries, and an SD card) for a few different projects to finish the school year off! Lots of fun student engagement learning projects left!
My students are in an urban district, with every child receiving free lunch due to high poverty, and in a school that is in jeopardy of being taken over by the state. With a huge financial deficit, it makes it impossible to buy supplies directly through our school system.
Many of my kids have learning disabilities and benefit from hands-on activities at different levels, allowing me to differentiate their classwork.
These children deserve the very best to overcome the poverty cycle and allow them to be college-bound!
My Project
These materials will be used for the last few big science projects to complete the end of the year. The SD card will be used for any yearbook-type pictures, videos and pictures for our school Facebook page, and a few labs including "Create a Baby" and "Growing Beauty in the Classroom". This lab will need potting soil and seeds to germinate which I've listed in the materials needed. I'm also in desperate need of staplers for the classroom and batteries for various electronics including the battery-operated stapler I've asked for. The cable will be used for my external DVD player as my computers disc drive does not work.
