My students need markers, crayons, ink pens in red, black, and purple, desk lamp, trash bags, tissue, paper towels, hand sanitizer, binder taps, storage box, & foam dice.

Approximately 60% of the students at our school receive free or reduced-price lunch, and there is a high number of military families.
There is an amazing group of hardworking young adults in this class. They strive every day to do their best and succeed. Their goals and dreams are to achieve a high school diploma and go to college. These students take any obstacle in their path head-on and don't let it slow them down. These students overcome so many different setbacks during their time in school, I refuse to let not having access to technology be one of these obstacles. Having these resources will help my students achieve their dreams.
My Project
My students will use the ink pens to complete assignments and projects. The binder tabs will be used to help them organize their materials. The foam dice will be used for review game activities. The desk lamp will be used for a student who has a hard time seeing when we have the lights out while working. The hand sanitizer will be used to help keep everyone germ free to keep the the students healthy. The trash bags, tissues, and paper towels will be used to replace our classroom stock that we have run out of. We use these items during labs and hands-on activities to keep our classroom clean and safe. The metal storage box will be used as our classroom "cell phone jail" for when students need a little extra help keeping on task. Technology in the classroom is key, until it becomes a detraction at times. The classpack of markers and crayons will be used to replace the current ones we have in the classroom that have been used to the point of no return.
Having these supplies available to my students will touch so many students' lives in my classroom.
This project not only will benefit the students this year, but will also help so many upcoming students reach their goals and dreams. Technology in the classroom makes learning priceless, for both the student and the teacher. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student when he/she discovers that learning is the key to their future. Thank you for considering helping my students.
