Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My pre-k students come to school eager to learn and explore. At this young age, these little ones acquire new concepts each and every day. My students enjoy learning using hand-on activities. Hand-on activities is one of the best ways to keep them engage in learning. I teach an amazing group of Pre-K students with various abilities who love preschool and enjoy learning every day. They are happy, curious, and active, and they love to learn through play.
My Project
My students will use the lacing beads to recognize shapes and colors. These lacing beads are suitable and will help my students develop their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. The counting bears and sorting cups will help my students develop one-to-one correspondence, counting to 100, skip counting, comparison, adding, making 10, grouping, addition, and subtraction. The craft supply kit will be use to make school projects such as collages and decorate the unfinished wood bird houses. The drawing board and dry erase pocket sleeves will my students practice writing their name, letters, and numbers. The rolling cart will be use to carry our books, markers, drawing boards, and playground equipment to and from the classroom.
