My Students

I work in extremely high poverty with free lunch and breakfast for all of the students in my school. My students never fail to amaze me. They rise to any challenges; they face and teach me new things every day.

I have a large group of kindergartners ready to blossom as readers, writers, and mathematicians.

School is a fun and safe place for my students, and it is my job to make sure they want to come to my class and have what they need to be successful. I need to make sure my students are safe.

My Project

These materials will help in the classroom as well as give each student an emergency pack of tools to use at home if our school has to be shut down due to Covid-19. This pack will include hands on learning materials such as play-doh, white boards, scissors and glue. Each student will need to have tools to be successful. Students will have fun with educational games and alphabet stamps. There are many ways to learn and build their hand strength so they are ready to write for longer periods of time.

These materials will help the Kindergarten classes at my school as well as at home.

It is important to be prepared in order to have a successful year.
