My Students

I am blessed beyond measure to share my classroom with nineteen of the coolest children I've ever met! My students come in each day eager to learn more about the world they live in and how they can make our world a better place. These children hope to become doctors, engineers, teachers, and web designers when they grow up!

Ready to take on the world and build bright futures for themselves, my students are fearless when it comes to learning.

They work collaboratively daily because they enjoy helping each other learn, and they work independently as responsible classroom citizens. This is a group of students that are going to change the world one day!

My Project

My students are very fortunate to have 1:1 Apple iPads in the classroom each day. We enjoy using technology to learn and show our learning in each of our core subject areas. Unfortunately, the increased use of technology has drawbacks and we need to continue working on our fine motor skills. What to do?!

With Apple Pencils in our classroom, my students will be able to continue working on their fine motor skills and handwriting while using their iPads!

The technology within the Pencil and iPad devices is so amazing that the iPad only reads the Pencil tip while it's in use and won't pick up the touch of fingers or hands resting on the screen! It's the perfect tool for my tech loving 2nd graders!
