My students need tools to help them with their fine motor skills.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
Fine motor skills are the foundation for writing and life skills. My students are just beginning to perfect their fine motor skills. They need engaging materials to do so.
I teach a brand new TK class.
It is the first transitional kindergarten class at my school site. My students have come eager to learn, and participate in their new school adventure. My students come from a diverse economic background, ranging from lower to middle class. All my students have one thing in common. They want to learn.
My students need to learn to buckle, lace, tie, snap, zip, button, and write the alphabet. The tools to help them achieve their goals, will be placed at centers for the children to learn. They will be rotated each day, to expose the children and future children, to the basics of fine motor skills. They will be available for the student use, until all the students have mastered these basic skills.
Since my grade level is new to the school site, there are not a lot of established materials for the students to use.
There are few fine motor materials purchased to help the students. The ABC writing and the hands on jackets, will help teach my students the foundations for fine motor skills. They will learn life skills in the area of fine motor, so they are more prepared to enter kindergarten.
