My students need new resources for their morning work and social studies projects. Our atlas resources are in very bad shape and students aren't able to find what they need.

My Students

I have a wonderfully diverse group of students this year. I teach in a fifth-grade inclusion room. My students are amazing! They work well together and have such a love for learning. They enjoy all things digital and hands-on.

They have a special interest in history and geography.

They love to look and explore the places they can only dream of going one day. They are intrigued by the history of the United States. They are constantly asking to see pictures of people and places that we read about in our books.

My Project

My students will greatly appreciate some new atlases to use in the classroom. Ours are very old and falling apart. Many pages are missing and students are not able to find the maps they need to help them in the classroom. By providing them with new resources, they will be able to learn how useful these resources can really be in their quest to learn about the world around us. In addition, as students have opportunities to learn about places around the world, it may help to allow them to dream of visiting these places. It will help show that the world is their oyster!
