"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." -Benjamin Franklin
In my preschool I work with the most incredible students ages three to five.
Two-thirds of my students are receiving services from the Special Education teacher and/or the Speech and Language pathologist. A few are also learning a second language. All of my students are actively involved in their education and developing numerous skills that will help them succeed for years to come.
My students need materials to assist in their sensory processing development in the classroom. The lap weights will help them regulate and stay in their space during structured activities. The weight sets will allow us to build our own weighted vests and give us the ability to adjust them as needed. The fidget toys will help keep their hands engaged so their eyes can focus on the task in front of them. The hold a ring walking rope will help build independence as we transition throughout the school. All of these materials will be used by multiple students for years to come.
