Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach in an inclusion school where I get the opportunity to teach students at all different social and academic levels.
Priding ourselves in creating lifelong learners, who have the opportunity to success in the general classroom, has been rewarding, but challenging at the same time .
With our growing class sizes, we are seeing that it makes it difficult to provide numerous forms of flexible seating for all our students. My goal is to have enough seating choices, so my students have the opportunity to choose a form of seating.
My Project
Implementing flexible seating in my classroom has allowed my students to make safe choices, as far as, where to sit and allows them to work in a place that maximizes their ability to focus.
By donating to my project, you will not only help to improve my students comfort level, but also allow them to focus in an environment that best fits their needs.
The pillows, stools, and office chair will all be additional options for my students to choose from in the classroom. My students are allowed to make seating choices for all subject areas throughout the day. They are giving the flexibility to change as they see fit.
