My Students

My students are our future. I am happy to say the future is BRIGHT! They come each day with positive attitudes and a willingness to change the world. They have innovative ideas and incredible stories to share with all.

Group of highly motivated and curious learners are looking for another option for seating.

These learners love to move about the classroom to discuss and share ideas. They would enjoy balance balls to had to the flexible seating offered in our classroom.

My Project

The balance balls are great alternative to a traditional chair. While my students have access to different style chairs, they are looking for more. They have recognized their love of changing seats throughout the day. The freedom of choice and movement keeps attitudes and thoughts positive as we learn.

The addition of balance balls provide an extra benefit other than being a "different".

They engage the student's body core as well as allowing some bounce. Many students say they focus more on their work when they can move in their seat. This physical engagement increases the engagement of the mind.
