My students are creative, full of questions, and ready to explore! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically.
Many students in my classroom come in saying they want to learn, however, their access to classroom basics has gone beyond my budget!
Our school is nestled in the heart of a busy city in New Hampshire, which was once surrounded by bustling mills. Now, with many of them closed, the city is coming back to life with new industries and a bustling college town next door.
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, different readings, and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners who are excited and ready to learn each year!
My Project
I am a new teacher in a classroom with a technology past that is far from the 21st century! The majority of my students are visual learners, and my room is far from visual learning friendly. Our classroom has a growing library of technology thanks to very generous donors!
