Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach in a Title I school. Although our students may live in an impoverished neighborhood, our students are vibrant and will brighten up your day! They can be an energetic bunch! They are hard workers and love to show this to anyone who walks into our school or whoever they see in the hallway!
Our students are an amazing group of children with different abilities and personalities.
They are busting at the seams to learn. They are excited to learn and grow.
My Project
Financial Literacy is the key to being successful in life! It can provide many opportunities for individuals who learn about financial education. Being financially educated can open doors and change lives.
This project is for 3 sets of Amazon 7 Fire Tablets and cases to provide my students with financial knowledge.
There are many websites that provide hands-on and interactive online games while learning about financial literacy. For example, the app, ABCYA has several games about counting money and saving/spending money.
This financial knowledge will teach my Second Graders to become financially successful by teaching them how to achieve it. This project will allow my students to be hands-on and learning while gaming about financial literacy.
