Welcome to Mrs. McGrath and Mrs. Vecchione's third grade co-teaching class. In a co-teaching classroom we can provide our students a high level of instruction while meeting the needs of individual learning styles and differences. Our third-grade class is in a school that has been honored to receive the 2017 National Blue Ribbon of Education Award. Our students and staff are very proud of this achievement. I truly believe we have fabulous students, teachers, staff, and parents.
We are always looking for ways to develop meaningful learning opportunities for our students.
Our co-teaching classroom provides our students a high level of instruction and enrichment while meeting the needs of individual learning styles and differences.
My Project
Educating children to be financially literate takes time and practice. Through the use of the magazine, DynaMath, my students will read about real life math situations and how to make important money choices. This magazine will help my students build math vocabulary, skills, concepts of money, and gain exposure to a variety of math based literature.
Teaching my class how to be responsible with their money choices is a skill that they will need throughout their lives.
Providing these magazines will encourage these skills will help them build concepts about money and how to make money choices. Thank you for helping us fund this project.
