Help me give my students books about financial literacy and money. This grant will allow me to supply classrooms with different levels of literature that tie into our financial literacy unit.

My Students
My students are a diverse group of children from prekindergarten to fourth grade. They come from many different cultural and linguistic backgrounds. We are a Title I campus serving over 600 students. Many come from low income homes who struggle with money on a daily basis.
Our students enjoy coming to school every day and are eager to learn.
We provide our students with many ways to learn and one of our main focuses is literacy. What better way to learn about budgeting, spending, and saving than reading?
My Project
I want our teachers to be able to build a strong foundation of financial literacy in their classrooms. My goal is to build a library of children's books on financial literacy and money.
What better way to introduce a topic like financial literacy by reading fun fiction books from some of their favorite authors?
These books will start some great conversations with our students about the importance of money management, saving, and taking an idea and working hard to help it become successful. Financial literacy is one of the most important skills for our students to learn in this day and time.
