My kiddos are like my second family. Every day a memory or thought pops up about every child I have or have had. I can't imagine my life without my family or my class children. They are what makes me the teacher I am today.
Every day for the past fifteen years I have welcomed eager learners with a huge smile, an open ear, and an endless heart.

My Project
Nothing is more important than life long financial lessons about money at a young age. I can teach with worksheets about money, but nothing is more engaging than hands on games focusing on acting out scenarios using money through math for kids.
I want to give my students the financial success for their future, through real word lessons about counting, saving, and planning to use their money wisely.
I think students need to learn the concept of money through interactive games and problem solving. Using these games that teach about income, spending and budgeting are all skills they will use their entire lives. These games will help me create ways for my students to feel like they are out there spending money and making good choices.
I can't wait to add these games to my already enriched curriculum. They will really be able to grasp the concept and value of money because of you!
