Financial Literacy and Phonemic Awareness in the Classroom
Help me give my students a class set of hand held dry erase boards. We will using these for Financial Literacy projects and writing.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Remember walking into a classroom and how excited you were to see the new things you were getting ready to experience? My students would love to have the same opportunity in the classroom, where they could explore hands on activities in an environment that is most comfortable for them to learn.
Many of the students have never had the experience to have a comfortable area to curl up with a good book or an area where they can learn with a variety of hands on materials.
I want to be able to give the students the experiences to have learning opportunities in a variety of ways.
These 5th grade students have a desire and passion to learn outside of the box. They have a special place in my heart as I looped with them, so that I could have two years to impact their learning experiences. The growth they have made in math, reading, and writing is evident in their daily work and it's time for them to get the opportunity to experience academic opportunities in a comfortable environment.
My Project
A classroom set of hand held dry erase boards, markers, and erasers are needed to help the students become more productive and engaged within the classroom. They can be used in small and whole group, from writing to math. They are a universal item of necessity need in every classroom and we currently have none available.
Using whiteboards has become an increasingly necessary item in the classroom to use as a teacher tool and for student engagement in activities.
This gives an opportunity to identify answers in whole group in a fast manner to identify student understanding.
By donating to our literacy project, you will be helping to improve and increase student attention and focus. This will continue to help in their academic achievement in the classroom. The dry erase boards will assist students in literacy across the curriculum.
