Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As human beings, we are far more productive and successful when we feel the most comfortable. As a teacher, it is my responsibility to provide a safe space for all of my students that walk through my door. From comfortable seating to standing workstations, it all matters.

My students have had the odds stacked up against them since before birth, and have overcome tremendous odds.

While in my classroom, my students will know and feel loved, valued, and seen for the amazing individuals that they are.

By providing a space that feels like home with a lamps, plants and a standing desk, my students will be able to drop their walls, allow their nervous systems to rest, and challenge themselves to be one step closer to their dreams!

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
