Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are all eager to learn technology on all levels and all possibilities. Whether we are on the computers or doing Digital Literacy, my students are ready to dive deep to the different aspects that technology has to offer.

I am currently focusing on my 3rd through 5th graders because they are at the age where, YouTube, TikTok, and Snapchat are life for them!

I want to give them the opportunity to develop their own Apps and interactive worlds within the classroom.

My Project

This project is so important to my students. My students have already began the first phase of their projects with Storyboarding and scripting and we are getting closer and closer to begin the filming and editing phase. I would really like to have all materials in place and ready once we begin that phase of the project!

We were already donated a few cameras and microphones but there were still a few items left out that my students mentioned.

We needed lighting and clip on microphones for mobility during filming. These items will give a better quality look to the students' videography.
