My students are part of a diverse community including; military families, foster families, grandparents raising grandchildren, and occasionally homeless families. Having taught at my school for 26 years I have had the pleasure of teaching children of former students. I lovingly refer to them as my "grandstudents".
I am moving down to teach Pre-K for the first time this year!
I am looking forward to seeing the excitement on their little faces as we build a community of love and love for learning.
My Project
Our Pre-K students would benefit from having; Cheez-It Original Crackers, Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Crackers, Honey Maid Honey Graham Crackers, Austin Sandwich Crackers, Toast & Peanut Butter, Quaker Chewy Granola Bars, Nabisco Cookie Variety Pack, Nature Valley Fruit & Nut Trail Mix Chewy Granola Bars, Wellsley Farms Chewy Chocolate Chip Granola Bars, Sun-Maid Natural California Raisins, and 18 Gallon Rubbermaid containers in which to store the snacks.
If someone is hungry it is very difficult to concentrate.
We would like to make sure our little ones have a healthy snack to keep them fueled through the afternoon until they get home for dinner.
