Help me give my students the materials needed for individual learning opportunities that will impact them for a lifetime.

I am one of the teachers in a 3rd grade ICT class. The class consists of both general education students and learners with special needs. My students are 3rd graders in an area that serves many immigrant families. Due to the current teaching/learning environment, everyone in the school building must wear masks for safety at all times. It is extremely challeging to keep students engaged in the learning process when they have to constantly strain to hear and to understand what is being said. Nevertheless, they are determined to learn and they make every effort to work around such obstacles.
Many of our students also face challenges performing simple daily tasks such as holding a pencil correctly to form letters and numbers, and writing simple words and sentences.
With the impact of the disruption in learning being felt by many communities around our city, additional support is needed for our young learners. For my students, the pandemic hit right in the middle of their first grade year. This was the time when much of the foundational learning would have taken place and the year that followed wasn't much better.
Many of the items being requested will help address loss of learning that still affects these third graders.
Acquisition of skills as simple as how to correctly hold a pencil to form letters and numbers were interrupted. Tools such as ergonomic pencil grips can address this deficit. Another valuable tool to address the issue of wearing masks and not being audible is a portable mini voice amplifier. It amplifies audio to all corners of the classroom so the speaker can be heard clearly. It is also beneficial for hearing-impaired students.
Lost instructional time has had serious ramifications in learning both reading and math for my 3rd grade students. Interactive, tactile manipulatives will engage our children and provide educational experiences that will help fill the numerous learning gaps that have been created.
