Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I work with students that speak a variety of languages from various countries, students working hard to achieve the American dream and succeed in this country, "The Home of the Free." Students that are striving towards achieving their high school diploma and be the first of their family to attend college.
My students are focusing on preparing their life after high school whether it's college, a trade, or other educational programs that will help them to build a career of their choice.
I work with each student indivdually on College and Careers, social-emotional support, assistance for their families in need through advocacy, referrals, and counseling toward improving their family life and future.
My Project
Breakfast is an important meal of the day. Food is what gives you energy and clears students minds to have a productive beginning to their day. Eating in the morning will help students focus and not worry about how hungry they are because they did not make it to school on time to eat breakfast.
Snacking at school plays an important role in fending off hunger, Snacks are an essential part of a growing child's diet.
Childhood is a critical time for growth and development, and snacks provide important nutrients that students needs between meals and to succeed academically.
I believe a full stomach will products academic strives and a empty stomach will prevent academic preformance!
