This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My 3rd grade classroom is a place where scholars are given the opportunity to learn and are given the blueprint to do so. I ensure to provide all learners the necessary tools to not only be successful academically, but in life as well.

"My students are unique in a sense that they want to learn, therefore I have to ensure they have all the tools and resources to make learning happen.

I am still astonished as my student understood the central values and morals instilled in him since attending our school, servicing 100% kids of poverty. Our school currently serves K-8th grade and we are highly effective teachers dedicated to educating the whole child in preparation for career, college, and citizenship.

My Project

The end of the year is quickly approaching and our supplies are running low. We are asking The generous contributors of DonorsChoose.org and all of its affiliates to reach out and give us a hand up, by donating to our project entitled "Fill Me Up" as we strive to make the end of the year as successful as the beginning.

My scholars need to replenish and refill some of the bare essentials like copy paper, pens, and pencils to make the end of the year successful.

These materials will ensure scholars continue to get the necessary supplies that we no longer have access to. So again, please assist as we attempt to Replenish and Refill what has been lost.
