I am a speech-language pathologist who provides speech therapy services to small rural school districts. I work with preschool through high school age students with special needs.
My students have speech and language delays with varying disabilities such as articulation disorders, language disorders, hearing impairments, cognitive impairments, learning disabilities, and autism.
My caseload consists of students with a variety of learning needs. I provide speech therapy services to students in a variety of locations such as elementary school, middle school, high school, preschool, daycare, colonies and home visits.
My Project
Our speech room is in need of a file cabinet to store files and paperwork in a secure location. The file cabinet will be used to store confidential information in drawers that are able to be locked.
The file cabinet will help to organize speech therapy paperwork and help to utilize the limited space available in the speech room.
The file cabinet will help organize the speech room and create an inviting, positive environment that will maximize student learning and improve student behavior.
Organization in the speech room will help develop a welcoming, comfortable, secure and safe environment for students.
My budget has been drastically cut in recent years. Without the help of generous donors, we can not afford even the most basic supplies. Please help me to get my students the supplies we need for a successful speech therapy program.
