My students need really need new uniforms and warm-ups. We are building our program as well as we are moving forward. We want our student to look like a team.

My Students
We have a very diverse school. We have children from China, Mexico, Haiti, Jordan, Vietnam, Honduras, and Egypt, just to name a few. Every year the dynamics of our school can change, most of the time it changes within the school year itself. Most of them can’t speak English. My goal for my students is to be able to speak conversational English, then progress into the educational aspect of speaking.
The students come to us as very shy, quiet, nervous, and scared individuals.
My goal is to get them to feel comfortable, calm, and relaxed. In doing so they want to learn. The students at our school are hard workers from low-income families. Most of my students don’t have access to this type of technology and our world revolves around technology. We can expose them to new things.
My Project
This project will allow my girl's volleyball and track team have pride in themselves. We are a struggling school who educates low social economic students. My volleyball nor track team cannot afford a uniform fee nor can the school afford to purchase these items for them. The clothing will make a world of difference of our volleyball and track athletes as well as allow to take pride in themselves and to show their school spirit. As a coach, I believe we must look good to play good. Having pride in how we look plays an important part in playing our best games. Help us restore pride to both my volleyball and track athletics.
