Fighting Hunger in My SPED Classroom

My Project

Malnutrition can hinder cognitive development and academic performance, perpetuating the cycle of poverty. By providing a variety of snacks and a microwave to warm up their breakfast/lunches, we can create a classroom environment with better focus, improved health, and enhanced educational outcomes.

This not only empowers students with essential resources but also promotes a sense of community and empathy, instilling values that extend beyond the classroom, and contributing to a brighter future for the individuals and the community as a whole.

Addressing hunger in my classroom is crucial for fostering a conducive learning environment. With your help, I can get closer to building an equitable classroom.
