Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students range from Pre-Kinder to fifth grade. In just a short period of time I have observed their skills improve and are constantly asking me to work them out harder.
Our students are full of energy, ready to learn, eager to move, and will participate regardless of their physical abilities.
With your help they will continue to improve their physical fitness skills and reach their individual end of school year fitness goals. My students are required to show growth and meet goals in PE just like they do in reading, math, and other academic subjects.
My Project
Our students need exercise dice, balancing buckets, and workout cards to use in our indoor space on rainy days, during harmful ozone warnings, and potentially dangerous heat advisories. Our weather changes in an instant but a students need for daily exercise does not.
We need 3/4 inch, heavy duty foam tile mats to provide cushioning for spines, hips, knees, and elbows during structured workouts and supervised fun play.
Having this equipment will ensure that our students will have fun as their physical fitness is being challenged through a variety of skills drills and structured games.
Please help me provide a fun and safe environment for my students to get their exercise on a daily basis.
