Help me give my students a unbelievable experience by going on a field trip.

As an educator in a Title I school, a large number of families are considered low income. There are approximately 87% students who receive free or reduced-price lunch. There is also a large number of families and a few students who are only able to speak Spanish. Due to students not being fluent in English, 33% of the students are considered English Language Learners and may receive ESOL services/accommodations. About 36% of students from 3rd-5th grade are reading on grade level.
My students come to school every day excited to learn!
They have a lot of drive and are extremely passionate about their learning. However, it can be very difficult for them to make connections to material due to familiarity with various topics. As a teacher, I am always trying to come up with different ways to reinforce their learning.
Please help us by providing financial help for our field trip and bus transportation. We love to learn outside of the classroom and have new learning experiences! They have a lot of drive and are extremely passionate about their learning. However, it can be very difficult for them to make connections to history due today being different from those times. History is also very factual and students struggle to understand the facts. Many of the students are visual learners and would be able to gain more knowledge about the Civil War by experiencing artifacts first hand.
Students have a difficult learning history due to all the factual information thrown at them.
Many students are hands-on and need visuals to make clearer connections.
This trip will allow our students to see history before their eyes!
They will get to experience the Civil War in a way we could not in the classroom. They will be able to see artifacts from that time and watch a presentation of a musket demonstration by the guides at the museum.
