My students need a great place to use their imagination and knowledge skills to connect their outside environment to the classroom. When we are not able to leave for a field trip, this will be super.

My Students

Hello I am a Head Start teacher at a title one school. My school provides high quality educational services for children that live at or below the property rate for household income.

Despite the children’s financial dilemma, the children come to school eager to learn.

Most of their parents have a little education but all parents try their best to participate and volunteer in the program for great success in their child’s learning and education.

We have a very diverse classroom from Native American, Latino, to Swahili and American.

My Project

My students are in the need for a greater opportunity to increase their outside environment awareness. They will be able to connect the outside world to the classroom.

Most of our parents in our classroom are single parents and they work more than one job, creating a very hard time to participate in field trips.

My school field trip policy, requests, that at least three parents from each classroom participate in a field trip. Most of our parents work so hard it is hard to get them to get off of their jobs which is their only means of income.

Providing the field trip kit, will allow our small groups in our classroom to experience things that happens outside of the classroom without even getting on the bus.
