Field Day Olympics

Help me give my students an opportunity to learn about the Olympics by participating in an Olympic-themed Field Day.

My Project

Field Day is the BEST day of the year! Since it only comes around once every 365 days, it better be good! Each year my students get to experience a new Field Day theme (rotating through 5 different themes). This year is the OLYMPICS!

Making the day one that the students will remember takes a lot of work, time, and equipment.

My project will help my students learn about different Olympic games while participating in an all-day extravaganza! Material from this project will help students learn about the different countries represented in the Olympics, learn about and how to play different games represented in the Olympics, and so much more.

Material from this project will not only be used on Field Day, but will be used for an Olympics unit in the gym. Not only that, material will be used throughout the year in other areas of our school as we learn and celebrate different cultures and nationalities.
