My students are amazing! They work hard, play hard and do their best to learn as much as they can each day. They work both individually and in teams.
My students come from all different kinds of backgrounds.
Many of them live in nontraditional families with grandparents, great grandparents or aunts and uncles being the primary caregivers.
They fight battles every day before they even step foot in my class. I just want to do what I can to make their days a little more enjoyable.
My Project
Fifth grade students love to move. In fact, it seems like they are ALWAYS moving. I am looking to help calm their fidgets and maybe their nerves too. These Bouncy Kick Fidgets attach to their desks or chairs and allows them to get moving while still staying focused on the daily classroom tasks. These quiet bands won't disturb others but help my students burn off any extra energy they may have.
I like to have my students get up and move around the room when I can so I'd like to have clipboards to give them the flexibility of spreading out and finding their own cozy place to work.
We will use whiteboards to help get all students involved in classroom discussions and activities. They will all feel invited and welcomed to participate in a safe learning environment.
Finally, I'm asking for glue because there is never enough glue. Never.
