Help me give my students fidget toys so that they can keep their fingers busy while their minds stay productive!
Fidget toys can have a calming effect for those who suffer with ADHD, anxiety or other sensory issues.
Our campus is a new public innovation campus that strives to build close relationships with innovators. Our program participants gain core class credits from cross-curricular project-based and human-design learning.
Our students applied to join this experience because they were looking for a new way to learn.
All of our projects include more movement and less silent learning on paper. Learning looks different than the traditional classroom on our campus.
Because our innovators were looking for a campus with more movement and an active learning environment, many of them suffer from anxiety, sensory disorders, or ADHD.
My Project
I would love to provide a basket or bin of fidget toys for innovators to use as needed to curb the symptoms of anxiety and sensory issues including ADHD.
Fidget toys are a great way to provide movement in the hands and fingers, while the brain stays on task.
Innovators on our campus have been sharing a few fidget toys available in my office but having a variety to choose from and a chance to use the ones that help them the most would be a huge thing for our learners. Thank you for helping us learn!
