Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
McGlone students are amazing! They are smart, thoughtful, interested and capable.
Students at McGlone are invested in their education and care about their community.
We miss seeing them but we know they are up for the challenge of online learning!
My Project
We often provide students who struggle with attention and anxiety fidgets to use in the classroom to help manage these issues and enable them to focus on academics.
This project will provide students with fidget tools to use at home where it may be even more challenging to manage symptoms of anxiety and difficulties with attention and focus.
While these may look like toys, they are actually tools that have been proven to help with attention.
We appreciate your support in helping students use tools they are familiar with to help them stay on track as they tackle online learning from home in these challenging times.
