Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

What I love most about my students is that they come from different backgrounds but once we are in the classroom we are a family. As a family, we support each other and lift each other up everyday. My students love to come to school everyday and are eager to learn. My goal is to be able to provided several different ways of learning, so they can get the most out of their time spent with me in the classroom.

My Project

I would like to give the opportunity for my students to further their academics with flexible seating. Research has proven that classrooms with flexible seating students feel more comfortable with their environment which has increased their focus on academics. Flexible seating allows students to use their energy to balance or fidget while working, which increases their focus on their school work.

My goal as a teacher is to give every student the best opportunity to learn.

Allowing my students to have flexible seating will help me give them every opportunity in my classroom to achieve their goals and be comfortable while doing it.
