My Students

My school has a high percentage of free and reduced-price lunch recipients.

We also have a large diversity of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. This year, I have a mixed ability group consisting of nine boys and eleven girls. Some have grasped reading skills at a faster rate than others, and some need a little more time. They are eager to learn.

My Project

Help give my students bouncy bands for our desk and chairs. These bands help with students who fidget either from excessive energy, ADHD, boredom, or sensory issues. These bands allow the students to kick their feet and get their fidgets out without disturbing the other students around them. These bands are made for kids with ADHD to help them achieve success in the classroom without getting into trouble every time they want to move or make noise. I have a classroom full of students who could benefit from this project. Thank you for helping my students learn the best they can.
