My students need a way to fidget and remain on task. I have selected Bouncy Bands so they have a way to fidget without disturbing the other students and distroying the baskets underneath the desks.
Every year my students bring a range of creativity to my classroom. Some have a passion for art, academics, or athletics. They are all funny, brave, respectful, and smart in their own way. It is within the classroom setting that they are able to come together and expand their minds and hearts.
Over the course of the year my students have to deal with tremendous obstacles.
The majority of my students struggle with a variety of learning disabilities ranging from ADHD, LD, to a wide variety of Autism. Even though they have these obstacles they are always positive that they will succeed within our school.
I always try to give them multiple ways to gain the information of my topic. I give them discussions, research projects, art projects, and collaboration activities to spark their interest and gain their attention. They love being able to work with each other in order to complete their assignment or project.
My Project
These products will provide my students with a way to fidget in their seats without bothering other students. These students have benefited from having the distraction from their nerves and have been able to focus on their assignments. Certain students have been able to increase their productivity when they have been provided a limited distraction.
The success of my students have always increased when they are able to be comfortable in the classroom.
Flexible seating has shown to be a great way to ensure that students are able to express their physical needs and not distract them from their academics.
