Every moment is a learning adventure in kindergarten. All learning is new and exciting. My students have so much fun experiencing every aspect of their day. From learning their letters and numbers, to experiencing joy at simple things like recognizing their name for the first time. There is always something exciting happening in kindergarten.
Truly, everything you need to know is learned in kindergarten.
We are working together to build a community of learners with a foundation of kindness and compassion. We are learning core life skills such as: sharing, taking turns, cleaning up after yourself, honesty is the best policy, being respectful, being safe, and being kind.
We are tactile learners, experiencing everything through hands-on exploration. When we are able to experience it ourselves, first hand, we truly understand.
My Project
These carpets, flex space wobble cushions, and clipboards will help my students be able to find a comfortable working place where they can be successful. Sitting in a chair is not always the best for everyone. Having options allows for flexibility and better student engagement. Wiggle seats allow my students to get their 'wiggles out' while they work
Having stress balls, and a variety of sensory tools will help us keep our hands busy while our minds learn.
My students need a variety of sensory tools to meet their individual sensory needs. At different times throughout the day students need different fidgets to help them focus.
