Help me give my students an alternate reality. The jackets, hoodies, and warming beverages variety will battle the winter that is coming. The snacks will battle hunger. The hair supplies will battle problematic hair days.

Life happens everyday. Life does not slow down because we are having a bad day. Life presses us to move forward. Life presents us with opportunities to advance, growth, and consistently become better versions of ourselves.
My students are LIFE.
They do not slow down. They consistently press forward. They identify and utilize EVERY opportunity to advance, grow, and consistently become better versions of themselves. Everyone that enters our classrooms understand that it takes every one of us EVERYDAY to make every gain and success possible and plausible. From parents to scholars to teachers to friends...we understand that we are in this movement together.
Together we don't just live life...we are LIFE.
As winter descends on Georgia the cold shall follow. On mornings where the rush to get to school outweighs taking the time to grab their gloves, the variety of warming beverages will be waiting to warm them. The granola bars, chips, vegan snacks, and cookies will assist us in battling hunger at any time of day. Hoodies and jackets can be provided to the scholars who may need an update or just need a jacket. With our insides taken care of, the combs, rubber bands, hair bows, lotion, bobby pins and mirror will take care of anything that could make a scholar feel less than themselves.
Winter is coming and preparedness is key.
We will always be proactive so that our students will suffer minimal barriers in the climb towards higher education.
