Feeling Like Reading a Good Book

Help me give my students new books that use their favorite characters to help them explore healthy ways to process feelings.

My Project

My students love having me read them stories. Over the years I have tried to create a classroom library that appeals to a diverse group of students and has a wide range of themes.

Favorite characters emerge that have my young readers wanting to hear some stories again and again.

This project endeavors to add some more stories with some of our favorite characters so we can tackle a very important topic- dealing with our emotions in a healthy way.

These books have been chosen to facilitate conversations where we name and talk about different feelings and emotions we experience.
