Students in my classroom have a wide range of abilities and needs. Most have learning disabilities that make learning to read difficult. However, my students have a drive to succeed and eagerness to learn all they can.
My students have a variety of interests from famous people in history to marine wildlife.
Their biggest barrier to pursuing their interests and learning more is an inability to read. They need support to explore their interests and build basic skills. Hot Dots give students immediate feedback and build confidence. For older students who struggle with reading, Hot Dots is an independent activity. Hot Dots use an interactive pen to guide students through science, basic reading, and math. The best part is students will get a much needed break from laptops.
Many of my students struggle to work independently because of their low reading abilities and the need for immediate feedback.
Hot Dot Interactive pens, workbooks, and books provide an independent activity with immediate feedback.
When paired with a workbook, book, or flash card, Hot Dots and other similar pens fill the gap in reading and math. Students will work on skills including learning the alphabet, word families, sight words, and basic math concepts.
The best part of Hot Dots is no blue light! Especially this year, students are suffering from screen fatigue and need engaging independent activities with no device required!
