My Students

I have awesome young students in my school that come to Music class twice a week and are excited to take on new musical challenges. They enjoy working individually, in small groups, and as a whole class to create and explore music. We sing, dance, speak and play our way through many different styles of music throughout the school year. My students are so much fun to work with.

My kids work hard daily to achieve our school motto, which is: "Go Safely, Respectfully, and Responsibly." I am so proud of all of them!

My Project

These individual 8-note glockenspiels can be used with every grade level that I teach, Kindergarten through Fourth Grade. They are versatile little tools that will be used to assist with visual and listening skills and engage students through the creative process.

They encourage creativity and exploration and can be used to enhance individual musicality.

Students will be able to create and play their own compositions on these instruments. They are extremely helpful in teaching melodic movement when the students can visualize how the notes move.

There is proof that a combination of tactile, visual, and aural experiences boost memory and comprehension. These are perfect instruments to assist my students in becoming successful musicians.
