My students need something to sit on instead of the ground when working out. The camping chairs would work great; they really love working independently outside.

My Students

I have been teaching for 22 yrs and just started teaching 4th grade. These kids love to have the freedom to be independent whenever they can. I have heard so much about flexible seating and how it gives the kids more confidence in their own learning.

I love seeing when a student has had that "wow" moment and starts to thrive.

I want to have a inviting learning environment in my classroom. I think flexible seating is a great start to helping my students learn in different places.

My Project

4th Graders love to do their work other than at a desk, so I allow them to go outside. They have to sit on the ground to do their work. I wanted the quest junior chairs for them to take outside and feel productive while doing work outside. I was going to spend my own money when I just got an email from my principal about DonorsChoose.

I have not used this kind of giving in all my years of teaching so it kind of feels funny.

I know my class will so enjoy these chairs to sit outside to do their work.
